"Buen Camino"
It's a greeting, and a fare-thee-well
To wish someone a good journey.
In two short words, it conveys so much.
At the journey's start, with the dawns first golden glow-
Or, at the days end, when the walking is done.
One fellow pilgrim to another, across the miles and ages-
Two short words, said with warmth and sincerity-
"Buen Camino".
Both a "hello", and a "see you soon".
To all of my fellow travelers, where you are, where you will be-
I wish a "Buen Camino" in all your life's journeys
